Karen M. Seeley *, Partner
Ms. Seeley was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007 after earning her B.A. (Political Science and History) from McGill University and Juris Doctorate (Hons) from the University of Saskatchewan. Her legal focus is on Criminal Law, Family Law, and Corporate Law.
Even as a young child, while her contemporaries dreamed of becoming astronauts and hockey stars, Ms. Seeley knew she wanted to become a lawyer. She has been interested in the law for as long as she can remember, and as a lawyer she loves being able to assist her clients through the most difficult periods of their lives and being able to provide them with sound legal advice.
“McAuley & Partners is a full service firm, and we provide exceptional services to clients in all areas of practice.”
Ms. Seeley has successfully defended two family law matters on appeal at the Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice. In her free time she loves to read and to travel. She has been and remains a very active member of several local associations: President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer for the District of Kenora Law Association; Chair, Vice-Chair and Board Member of the Dryden Regional Health Centre; and Vice-Chair and Board Member of FIREFLY.

Brock A. Moore-Bunney *, Partner
Mr. Moore-Bunney was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2011 and the Ontario Bar in 2012. He earned his Bachelor of Social Sciences, with honours, from the University of Ottawa and graduated from the Robson Hall Law School at the University of Manitoba in 2010. He practices with a focus on Real Estate, Corporate & Commercial Law, and Wills & Estates.
In his third year as an undergrad at the University of Ottawa, Mr. Moore-Bunney shifted the focus of his career to the law when he realized his greatest enjoyment were the law-orientated criminology courses. As a lawyer, Mr. Moore-Bunney now finds his greatest enjoyment is in the people, and helping his clients through any and all legal matters.
Mr. Moore-Bunney is also very active in his community. He is a coach for the Falcons (of the Dryden Minor Football league) and is a member of the Dryden Fire Service and the Dryden Flying Club. You can find him outdoors in his spare time—camping, fishing, boating, sailing and golfing in the summer and snowmobiling, snowboarding, and playing hockey in the winter. He can also be found on the local music scene, as the guitarist and singer in a local rock band.
“McAuley & Partners is a great law firm for our clients because of our experience, attention to detail, professionalism, and our ability to assist our clients in multiple areas of the law.”
